The World`s Love Civilization in Time
Civilization began with the existence of the first man and woman who decided to understand each other, and so love was born. Ever since then, the couple has transcended through civilizations and time, just as the hands of the minutes and hours on a clock.
Inseparable companions whose existence is impossible without one or the other, getting to a point of perfect unison as they overlap and mark every hour of the day, that is also love.
Each head is a world
We live in the world we choose to live in, one which we create to surround our physical and mental bodies with.
The one we nurture with information, tastes, freedoms and limits; it is the particular world of each individual being.
This box filled with thoughts and emotions is our “moving house” and the way we LIVE and embellish it will make our lives happy ones, because this fabricated world exists… only in our minds.
This is why people say… every mind is a world!
The world`s north
The world’s course
The world has lost it’s north, seemingly without direction. It’s governing leaders are not stepping forward into progress but backwards into the distractions of neighbors and their common interest, alienating themselves from the original course of helping with the evolution of the population and leading them to peace.
Seems like the NORTH has been lost.
The world`s meeting
This cubic world speaks upon civilization, which lives within its limits, trapped by its restraining edges, which impose order and disorder to the human race and its environment. This “civilization” has not only moved forward, but also transformed our original world.
Laws, religion, race struggle, species, pollution, nutrition, climate, social classes, communications, politics, and technology: major edges which shape this cubic world.
Then so again: the “Quadrature” of this circle is nothing more than a mathematical problem that presents itself as being “geometrically impossible and unsolvable as to finding a square which it’s area equals the area of a given circle…”
So mankind should transform these limits putting together the human powers of the world that represents our interests, so they can open new fields and rescue the lost balance.
The world`s original sin
At the beginning of times, everything was perfect until man committed the first sin therefore transforming our earthly paradise into what it is today… Nonetheless, Pandora’s Box remains with us holding inside hope…
The world`s day out of time
Time is in the mind, it is subjective. Our time is modeled through the perception of life. If this perception could be standardized and structured, our minds, and humanity, would act with more balanced practices. Under this concept, the League of Nations proposed a new and more logical calendar at the turn of the century, one that did not include leap years or a month’s name that does not coincide with its meaning. For example, September in Latin means “the seventh,” when it is currently the ninth month. Similarly, October, November and December mean “the eighth”, “the ninth”, and “the tenth”, respectively, yet are the tenth, eleventh, and twelfth month in a calendar year.
The calendar proposed by the League of Nations, before either of the destabilizing world wars, consisted of thirteen lunar months; each corresponding to the 28-day lunar cycle. Unfortunately, the proposal was not accepted due to an extra day that would throw the calendar off. While there are 365 days in our calendar year, the product of 13 and 28 gives only 364 leaving one extra day to a year. To this day they ascribed a name, “the day outside of time”. Regardless of the failure to its acceptance, 140 nations decided to honor a special day in their calendars. This special day is not only to be a day outside of time, but also “the day of the arts”- one day of experimental liberty, without reservations, but with the objective to promote peace and harmony in humanity through the observation of culture. The day they selected is the 25th of July in the Gregorian calendar.
The world of western thoughts
No matter in which hemisphere of the planet you find yourself in, eastern or western, humans continue to create breaks, physical and spiritual malaise which destabilize the natural order and trajectory of the planet.
we must strive to care for this side without forgetting about the other.
The world of weight
A single man is capable of dragging down the world with its heavy loads and of inflicting more damage upon it than a larger share of the population could. But just as its loads can be a burden to the world, they can also help bring to it many benefits.
The world of vanity
To meet our society’s Beauty and static canons our head becomes square. We leave our curvilinear and spherical nature and we limit or force barriers so we can follow beauty, seduction, and attraction trends injected equally to men and women by the media.
We limit ourselves in health, pleasure, and in whatever life offers up to the point of exposing our own lives, even mutilate ourselves in order to please our square mind and specially the “public”.
We should leave the stage and begin to enjoy our body as it was given to us.
The world of values
Value is not solely attributed to monetary or material wealth. The most basic and principal values are “Human Values”.
What sets us apart from plants, animals, and the rest of nature? It is values that man has consciously obtained during development within his habitat and culture. Whether it is from learning through others or the experience of one’s human condition, these inherent values of man include honesty, generosity, responsibility, good-judgment, friendliness, sincerity, sacrifice, understanding, loyalty, and forgiveness amongst others.
It is also possible to elevate and develop our spiritual values as long as humanity respects and keeps their sense of place-value as the “humans” we are, where our cells and our DNA that separate us from other species. By leaving behind our misplaced values on material wealth, we will be more powerful and effective with a currency of infinite worth…
The world of power
The man who has power has the key to open all the doors of the world.
The world is in hands of those who have power. When used wrongfully, it
unbalances and transcends its own boundaries, violating freedom. It is capable of making man a sort of god, this makes him believe he has absolute power to manage the destiny of the individual and the world he lives in. power When used properly, on the contrary will open the doors and paths that lead to the development of mankind and their habitat.
The world of leisure
The Greek concept of Leisure, translates into a time of reflection upon science, politics and human life. Aristotles fostered the idea that Leisure was a fundamental keystone of free men, and an essential tool for elevating the spirit and achieving human perfection. In Rome, times for fun and leisure were obligatory. These traditions allowed room for developing creativity. “No leisure, no business…” However, in modern times people are obligated to work nonstop to complete “work” hours in return for the prized “Vacation”.
The world of eastern thoughts
No matter in which hemisphere of the planet you find yourself in, eastern or western, humans continue to create breaks, physical and spiritual malaise which destabilize the natural order and trajectory of the planet.
The world of directions
The road is etched out, but the direction we take is something we have to pick individually.
A crossing, a stop, a stoplight, these all give us an opportunity to choose. We have the ultimate choice whether or not to obey, a chance to keep going, the option to change route, halt, reverse, or u-turn and go home.
That is the way our life is; a long journey that only we can decide how to take, “The road is as you pave it.”
The world of control
Man is capable of jumping off a precipice just for obtaining control .Control gives power, wealth and hierarchy.
What is man looking for inside the earth, in its entrails, that gives him the control of the surface? …. Black gold (oil), gold, diamonds, etc.
Today, the person who controls those commodities controls the world. If you abuse the earth, you will break the balance, affecting our way of life.
Instead of benefiting from the earth, we will end the resources before we could react.
The world of communications
Communications give the world a unique vision of thought… an anthropological cosmovision. Through it are explained the origins of things, beings and their behavior, creating as a result a dialogue.
In the past, this was carried out thanks to spoken word, gestures, rites, and scripture, eventually making it to almost supernatural limits of the invention of the telephone. Object representing a sacred symbol for mankind, which accompanies, cares, resolves and listens, it has gained an unquestionable mythical place in the world of communications where ever you may find yourself in the world.
Let’s hope we can use the sacred power of communications to unite us for the good of humanity.
The world is starving
Every human being has the same basic needs, so why take away from others what is rightfully everyone’s? Eat and drink with measure so as to always leave enough for others and tend a hand to those in need for their survival.
The world is squared
Today’s world is a square world…a cube. I sense not an easy world, soft and ongoing, constant as the one originally created by God to spin, without stumbles and obstacles: unrestrained.
Man has taken upon himself to quadrate this curved surface…
This cubic world speaks upon civilization, which lives within its limits, trapped by its restraining edges, which impose order and disorder to the human race and its environment. This “civilization” has not only moved forward, but also transformed our original world.
Laws, religion, race struggle, species, pollution, diets / nutrition, climate, social classes, communications, politics, and technology: major edges which shape this cubic world.
Then so, the “Quadrature” of this circle is nothing more than a mathematical problem that presents itself as being “geometrically impossible and unsolvable as to finding a square which it’s area equals the area of a given circle…”
Besides developing his world, man has created a new one in decline. If mankind does not achieve the transformation of these new limits and use them for good and not evil, he will create an unbalanced, square world that will only rotate by it’s own hand and no one else’s…
There is still time.
The world is nothing without coffee
If there is something which has been given equally to us all by Mother Nature, is the chance to have a tasty cup of coffee, whether east or west, in all corners of the world. It awakens us this warm and pleasant drink… our Mother Earth gives it to us to please us, pamper and livens us up to continue moving forward and battling in our square world.
The world is conected
Without even noticing we have added to our body a digital extension, an inseparable part of our organism, the phone.
We live connected to it as we are to our shadow, every day we sleep with it as we do with our shadow during the rising and falling of the sun, we are connected from sunrise to sunrise.
Our arm hast now a metallic extension of different colors and models, which becomes alive as it connects to our ear.
This connection allows us to breathe easy but the only thought of losing it can leave you breathless.
The world is being served
We all serve humanity in one way or another, but there are special groups of people that dedicate themselves with heart and soul towards the construction of a better world for us all. These men and women that have given their lives in order to “Serve the World” include missionaries, clergy, and volunteers as well as the people that belong to world development organizations such as charities, non-profits, and cooperatives. Organizations like the Red Cross, UNICEF, the United Nations, the Lions Club, and the Rotary Club, among others, embody this message of world service.
There is yet another class of service men and women that, through their daily unconditional efforts, directly impact mankind. This class includes nurses, firemen, physicians, waiters/ waitresses, rescuers and the police to name a few. We cannot forget the special group of people that are able to continue the gift of life by donating their organs to the people in need.
It is to them and all the other “Servers of the World” to which we owe the positive counterweight to our cubic world. It is they that are able to smooth the edges towards a better world.
This work is in recognition to this part of humanity which with both love and devotion help create and sustain a better world.
The racing world
We’re living the fast life. We go so fast that sometimes we don’t see the things we leave behind, and even lose our place n the process. Let’s take the time to indulge every moment that will never return; That a red car’s dream is not a fast one but a first row theater seat where one enjoys the landscape, nature, our people and the route that quickly takes us to memories of when we walked by foot.
The pillards of the world
Four elements sustain our planet: Water, Earth, Wind, and Fire. What do these elements represent anthropomorphically?…
Water is life, Earth is reason, Air is spirituality, and Fire is love and passion.
Can we say that the world is solidly sustained on its four pillars? Which ones are failing us?
Is it love, life, spirituality, or reason? Reason in particular, that represents earth, is not fulfilling its function.
The domestic world
Despite the passing of time, the domestic world will always remind us of our mothers; even if they adopt the use of practical artifacts to facilitate household chores. With time, artifacts such as washing machines, blenders, fridges, sewing machines and kitchens, among others, have evolved, changing in form and use, but they will never change the hands of our mothers; the hands which used and continue to use these objects. Some will be extinguished and others will be industrialized; what will not evolve, however, is the love with which these objects are put to use.
The calculating World
We live trapped in the word: “calculation” and we probably are not aware of this.
Since we open our eyes we begin to calculate …how long are we going to take to brush our teeth, how much shampoo is left in the bottle, how long will it take to make and drink our coffee, do we have enough gasoline to get where we want to go, how many coins do we have for the bus?….and we can go on and on.
Just stop to “calculate” how many times we calculate during the day, how much time we do this. You may not fit in your pants because of a lack of “cardio exercise” but we can be sure that there is a part of our body that is well fitted.
The world go green
The world is trying to rescue its equilibrium, let’s create conscience eliminating and controlling harmful agents which are destroying our green world.
The world go blue
Our world suffers from the lost of its trees, rainforest etc.; through its currents not only does the precious liquid run but sweet and salty tears of its oceans and rivers.
Lets cherish each drop so our eyes will be not left without tears….
The same different world of toys
Do children today play with the same kind of toys we used to play with? Definitively not.
Technology has changed the way children think and feel. Their silent sidekicks along their invisible friends seem to come alive with a chunk of red plastic that comes with a first and last name: “On-Off”.
Place kids between a car and a TV remote, or a doll and a cellular phone and you’ll see which option they will prefer.
There’s still something left unchanged about the evolution in toys and that is the “Affective Toy.” If children were to choose a “toy person”, the true game companion, loyal and unconditional; it’s their own color.
Features of this plastic friend, his hand, his face, closely resemble those of his owner: his continuation.
Since childhood racism swings through homes, and when Santa’s sled visits a little white girl, he gifts a little white doll, equally, when he visits a little black girl, he gifts a little black doll.
Why haven’t we been able to overcome this while technology is desperately driving us to solitude? What is the fantasy that we seek to secure since our childhood?
While technology is desperately driving us to solitude? What is the fantasy that we seek to secure since our childhood?
